Top 10 Power Foods

Yeah, you bust your butt in the gym, so what! Are you eating the right foods to support your hard work? This list is 10 of the most powerful foods out there. They are muscle-building, fat-shredding, metabolic boosting, and any other cheesy line you can think of, good! The bottom line, if you want to get results, find a way to fit these into your diet.

1. Eggs: What came first the chicken, or the egg. The egg did! Read all about eggs here:

2. Chicken

I told you the chicken came after the egg.

3. Steak

What is better then a nice piece of protein slapped on the grill, charred medium, paired with a little veggie?

4. Broccoli

You got to have a veggie to pair with that steak. Why not broccoli?

5. Almonds

Convenient, protein in a bag. Anytime, anywhere.

6. Cottage Cheese

The most protein-packed, muscle-building cheese you’re going to find. Even better late night, keeping the metabolic rate up while you snore.

7. Greek Yogurt

Perfect combo of healthy fat, carbohydrates, and protein to make an awesome breakfast addition, or early morning snack.

8. Tuna

Omega’s and protein, in a can. Can’t beat it.

9. Green Tea

OK not a food, but man is this stuff good. We all have heard the benefits of lower cholesterol, preventing heart disease, and burning fat. Not a miracle worker, but nonetheless a good sip.

10. Chocolate Milk

Sorry, again I know I said foods but, I couldn’t leave this out. With the perfect blend of healthy fats, carbohydrates, and protein low-fat chocolate milk is an awesome post-workout choice. Read more here:
